We have a long tradition of enjoying the Fastnacht* pancake supper and talent show. Our tradition has also been to have our vicar be in charge of this event. *Fastnacht is a German word meaning something like “night before fasting” and is a tradition of eating fried foods prior to Ash Wednesday and Lent when one might begin to fast.
