CHILDREN’s NEWS

October 26 The story of The Four Friends will be experienced through the
use of a Creative Drama Workshop called “Blanket Drop Freeze”.  Sunday marks
our final workshop centering on Luke 5:17-26. 9:45 am in the library.

November 2 is our special All About Saints event. Special saintly inspired
games, activities and treats for all ages. 9:45-10:45 am in the fellowship hall.

Micah 6 VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION AND FELLOWSHIP EVENT
Saturday, October 25, 3–6 pm, at FELC

Have you volunteered with Micah 6 in the past? Want to visit and have fun
with your fellow volunteers?

This event is for YOU! There will be snacks and beverages (beer, water,
tea) and a variety of games for everyone to enjoy. We will also be doing
raffle drawings throughout the event so make sure to check in at the
information booth when you arrive! And please bring a friend or your family!

CDC BOOK FAIR ON NOW

First English Lutheran CDC is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair weekdays from
October 20-30. Please feel free to drop by the Fellowship Hall any weekday
afternoon from 3:30-5:30. Or check out our online Book Fair:

way, you can find great Christmas gifts for kids of all ages, while
supporting our school. Scholastic gives FELCDC a portion of the profits to
spend on books and classroom supplies.
