STEWARDSHIP COMMITMENT SUNDAY
October 19, 2014

This Sunday we will celebrate all the ways we can use our time, abilities, and
finances to serve God in our whole lives. We will bring our stewardship forms to
worship and bring them forward during the offering — both the Stewardship of
Finances form, and the Stewardship of Time and Abilities form.

MEN’S RETREAT REGISTRATION DUE
WEDNESDAY, October 15

Pastor Coffey needs all men who plan to attend the men’s retreat to register NO LATER THAN Wednesday (that’s tomorrow)! The retreat is November 21-23 at Inks Lake State Park. Registration form is online at this link: http://www.felcaustin.org/events/mensretreat

LUTHERAN BREWTHERHOOD MEETS THIS THURSDAY
October 16 at 7:30 pm at Dog and Duck Pub

All men are invited to join Pastor Coffey for this monthly gathering at 7:30 pm at the Dog and Duck Pub, 17th and Guadalupe.

AIDS WALK AUSTIN
October 19 at 2:00 pm

This 5K walk is sponsored by ASA (AIDS Services of Austin). The Care
Communities, FELC’s care team’s training and support agency, receives monies
from this walk and we walk with their team. Our Care Team will be collecting
donations/sponsorships after both services on October 19, or you can contribute
online: www.aidswalkaustin.org. Select “Walker” Charlotte Gilman. Contact
