SECOND COMMUNITY MEETING FOR RACIAL HARMONY – JULY 23
The Austin African Methodist Episcopal churches hosted a community forum on
June 23 to begin conversation about racial harmony and justice. The second
meeting is scheduled for July 23 at Grant AME Worship Center (1701 Kramer
Lane, Austin, TX 78758) at 7 PM. Pastor Coffey will be participating and
encourages FELC members to attend.
CHILDREN AND FAMILY CORNER
Minecraft Bible Study will hear and experience the story of Jesus feeding a crowd of 5,000 people with only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish (John 6:1-21). This miracle was accomplished because a young child was willing to share his food. Sharing can be hard for children. I wonder what would’ve happened if the child hadn’t been willing to share his food?
Children’s Church continues to need volunteer leadership for the entire month of August. If you can help, please contact Jimmy Wright email@example.com
