SYNOD ASSEMBLY OFFERING

The Southwestern Texas Synod Assembly is May 3-4 in Austin. Each year, the synod
chooses a ministry to support through an assembly offering. This year, the assembly offering is supporting Water for Africa. This ministry provides clean water to those in urgent need by donating LifeStaws. Each LifeStraw gives one
person the ability to drink a hundred gallons of water instantly purified and safe from any source. For more information go to http://www.swtsynod.org/article378717.htm

We can support this ministry by collecting an offering from First English. For $10 you can sponsor one LifeStraw. First English could easily donate 100 straws to help 100 people desperately in need of clean drinking water. If you’d like to
donate toward the assembly offering, make your check out to First English, and mark it “synod assembly offering.” We will collect donations through April 28.
