Children & Youth
At First English we value each child and youth as part of a family. Since we’re a “not so big church” each young person is special, and is part of an extended family of faith.
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL
Each Sunday morning at 9:45 AM, we host a workshop Sunday School, providing children with a rich, multi-learning style experience. Story telling, activities, games, puppets, and more make up an excellent, inter-personal educational environment. Many adults in the congregation volunteer leading a workshop one or more times a year, using their own talents for the sake of the children.
JUNIOR HIGH SUNDAY SCHOOL AND CONFIRMATION
Each Sunday morning, our junior high youth gather for a study of the Old and New Testaments, giving them a solid foundation for knowing and understanding biblical stories and concepts.
Confirmation is led by the Pastor and Vicar and meets on Sunday afternoons and other times. We support our youth attending confirmation camp each summer with the Pastor and Vicar.
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH
Our high school youth meet on a regular basis for faith conversations and building friendships. They go on a mission trip each summer to serve others as part of their faith formation and enjoy being part of the church group.
